This Privacy Policy explains how GoToto, operated by [Company / Proprietor name] ("GoToto", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your information when you use our app and website (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number and profile photo (if you add one).
- Location data: your device's GPS location to set pickup, show nearby drivers, calculate routes and track your ride. With your permission, this may be collected while the app is in use.
- Ride & transaction data: pickup and drop locations, route, fare, payment method and ride history.
- Device & usage data: device model, operating system, app version and basic usage logs to keep the service working and secure.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify your number via OTP.
- To book rides, match you with a Driver-Partner, and calculate small-road routes and fares.
- To enable live tracking, support, payments and receipts.
- To improve the Platform, prevent fraud and keep riders and drivers safe.
- To send you service messages and, where you allow it, offers.
3. Sharing your information
We share only what is needed to provide the service:
- With your Driver-Partner — your name, pickup/drop and contact for the trip.
- With service providers — such as maps/routing, SMS/OTP and payment partners, who process data on our behalf.
- When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Location permission
Location is core to the service. You can turn the location permission on or off in your phone settings, but some features (such as booking a nearby Toto or live tracking) may not work without it.
5. Data security & retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
- Access, correct or update your account information from within the app.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Manage notification and location permissions at any time.
7. Children
The Platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
